George Vrakas (MBA, CCMP, CMILT) is a Senior Strategic Projects and Business Intelligence professional with deep experience in services procurement and logistics. He has presented on topics such as globalisation, services procurement, leadership, continuous improvement and personal productivity at universities and industry venues in Melbourne, and has hosted a range of industry events. His articles on procurement, contract management and supply chain have been published across online platforms and industry publications. George served on the Board of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport Australia (CILT Australia) from 2011 to 2016 and a member of World Commerce and Contracting (formerly IACCM). He holds an MBA from Victoria University, specialising in International Supply Chain Management and Applied Economics, is a certified Commercial Contract Management Practitioner (CCMP) and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and holds a Lloyd’s Maritime Academy certificate in KPIs for Ports and Terminals. He has also completed a wide range of programs in contract management, negotiations, international regulations, problem solving and change management, as well as recent qualifications in data analytics and generative AI for executives and business leaders.
